The fattest Briton, Zarchari Smith has managed to lose a huge amount of weight. Once upon a time, his weight was 297 kg and now he is extremely happy after losing some weight. He has undergone a losing surgery in India and lost around eight kg in just two days of an obesity surgery.
After this surgery, he has become the “heaviest patient” to be operated in Asia. He is now 35 years of age and he is feeling extremely delighted after the surgery. Last week Smith came down to India and got admitted in a hospital.
Earlier many hospitals at UK had turned away from Smith's case and refused to operate him. They all had expressed their inability to go for this surgery as it was a very risky one.
The Body Mass Index (BMI) of Smith was found out to be 80 at that period of time which was in a very risky condition for the purpose of operation. However, finally Laparo Obese centre at Ruby Hall clinic of India had operated Smith successfully.
