Latest News Update About Prithviraj Chavan: After Ashok Chavan's resignation as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Congress Party has chosen Prithviraj Chavan as the new CM of the state. The party President Sonia Gandhi accepted the former CM's resignation on TuesdayPrithviraj Chavan has also been preferred by the National Congress Party's Chief Sharad Pawar. He said, "Prithviraj is a good, sober man. I hope he will do good work." Prithviraj Chavan too denied the so called rigidity in their relationship (between him and Pawar).
