Taking a dig at Lalu Prasad’s claim to weave the magic of development in Bihar on lines of the railways, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday said progress for the RJD chief is like a “red rag to a bull”.
“Lalu vikas ke naam par aise bhadakate hain jaise lal kapade se saandh (Lalu becomes enraged over development like a red rag to a bull),” Kumar told an election meeting here in Nalanda and asked the people to dismiss Prasad’s claims. “Lalu and development are antonyms,” Kumar added.
On Prasad’s claim of a turnround during his stint as railway minister, Kumar, also a former railway minister said that he had handed over charge of the railways in good health “and there is nothing for the RJD leader to take credit for.”
