Supriya Sule

Supriya SuleSupriya Sule, The NCP leader and daughter of Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule has said that her family has nothing to do with IPL, and also cleared that her husband, Sadanand sule is not linked with the bidding in IPL.


She rejected over the reports that the missing bid documnts of Adani and Videocon were linked to them as her family didn't bid for any team.


She said that allegations made on Praful Patel are not true, and her father has not taken anyone side as he backed Lalit Modi and Shashi Tharoor both on the IPL Kochi controversy.





Supriya Sule is Member of Parliament from NCP.Supriya Sule is an Indian politician from the Nationalist Congress Party and currently a Member of Parliament (MP) in the Lok Sabha (India's house of elected representatives). She is the daughter of the President of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar. In 2009, she contested the elections for the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency and won. This constituency was previously represented by her father. She was a Member of Parliament, representing Maharashtra in the Rajya Sabha.


Born to Sharad and Pratibha Sharadchandra Pawar on 30 June 1969 at Pune, she was educated at Jai Hind College in Mumbai (formerly Bombay), earning a B.Sc. degree. She married Sadanand Bhalchandra Sule on 4 March 1992. She has One son and one daughter.


She was elected to the Rajya Sabha in the September 2006 intake from Maharashtra . and is a trustee of the Nehru Centre in Bombay.


In March 2009, prior to the Indian general elections, Supriya Sule declared assets worth Rs 52.73 crore: Rs 15.79 crore in her own name, Rs 35.78 crore in name of her husband Sadanand, and Rs. 1.16 crore in name of her two children.
