Varkala Radhakrishnan, Varkala V. Radhakrishnan (born 21 August 1927, died 26 April 2010) is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India and a former speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. He represents the Chirayinkil constituency of Kerala and is a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) political party. Radhakrishnan is holding the Chirayinkil seat since 1999. An accomplished lawyer-turned-politician, Radhakrishnan hails from Varkala, and he represented the Varkala legislative constituency for several years. Radhakrishnan is an alumnus of Government Law College, Trivandrum.
