Breaking News India Pune, � A terror attack late evening at a bistro in the western city, Pune killed eight and injured 40 on Saturday. The explosion took place in the German Bakery, a restaurant which is well-liked by the foreign tourists. Bakery is near to the Osho Ashram, the famous mystical centre of India.Saturday's blast is one of the worst dreadful explosions that happened in India after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
Till the latest news input received from different sources, it was unclear any foreigners killed or not. But, among the wounded some foreigners are also admitted.
Suspecting a terror attack behind it as the US terror suspect David Headley is guessed to stay the Osho Ashram when he visited the city.
"There are eight dead and 33 injured in the blast at the German Bakery. It is a suspected bomb blast," a joint commissioner of police, Rajendra Sonawane informed.
"It's most probably a terror attack. We are sending a forensic team of CBI and personnel of National Investigative Agency (NIA)", Union Home Secretary Gopal Krishna Pillai said in New Delhi.
"We heard a big noise and we all rushed out. The impact was so much that there were tiny body parts everywhere," an employee of the particular bakery, Vinod Dhale said.
The reason behind the blast is not yet known. Though, there are some assumption around it going on by media and investigative that the explosion may have happened by gas cylinder outburst. The terrorist attack is also suspecting in the incident.
