Sunanda Pushkar, is reported to hold 18% free equity in Kochi IPL, and is close to Tharoor, The two have been frequently spotted in New Delhi's social circles. Earlier on Saturday during the deal agreement in Bangalore, a Union minister had called up IPL official and was told not to speak regarding Sunanda Pushkar to the press.
