Ck Prahlad

Many people are now searching about C K Prahlad a reputed professor and one of the top management thinkers in the world. He died yesterday. He was orking at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business of the University of Michigan. Coimbatore Krishnarao Prahalad was born in 1941 in Madhva Brahmin family. His father was a well-known Sanskrit scholar and judge in Chennai. C K Prahlad had nine brothers and sisters. At the age of 19 received his B.Sc degree from in Physics from Loyola College in Chennai, which is affiliated to University of Madras. He then joined Union Carbide battery plant and worked there for four years. It was great experience that helped him in his later years. After four years, he did his post graduation in management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Here he met his future wife, Gayatri. Five years later, the couple got married and they have two children. In 2009, The Times magazine ranked him the world's most influential business thinker on "The Thinkers 50" list.
